Barry Anthony Cheeseman – Senior Solicitor Advocate and Senior Partner
Area of expertise: Criminal Defence
Having successfully completed the Solicitors Final Examination at the College of Law Chancery Lane, Barry Cheeseman undertook articles of clerkship at both a city firm and a high-street practice.
Having been one of the first solicitors to obtain higher rights of audience in 2001 he focused primarily on crown court and court of appeal advocacy. He has conducted a wide range of trials himself in the crown court over a period of sixteen years and has been instructed with Queen’s Counsel in numerous serious and complex cases.
Memberships: Duty Solicitor Scheme, CLSA, London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association (LCCSA) and Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA).
Barry has also been a member of the Kingston Crown Court Users Committee and completed a period of work shadowing with a senior Circuit Judge at Isleworth Crown Court in 2006.

With almost 20 years’ experience as a fully qualified Solicitor Advocate, David specialises in criminal defence work.
David ran his own successful practice for many years in West London before becoming a consultant for Cheesemans Solicitors and more recently a partner of the firm.
Memberships: Duty Solicitor Scheme and Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA).
Lynn Sutton-Bunnell – Solicitor
Area of expertise: Family Law and Civil Litigation
Lynn qualified as a Solicitor in 1998, after completing her law degree at Sussex University, Law Masters at Southampton University and Legal Practice Course at Guildford College of Law. She has worked at firms in Surrey, Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Middlesex, specialising in family law and civil litigation. She is a member of Resolution and Reunite and has been the Solicitor member at two child contact centres and the North Hampshire domestic violence forum.
Lynn has a wide range of experience in family law and specialises in divorce, financial settlements and children matters including separation and cohabitation disputes, prenuptial agreements and domestic violence issues.
Lynn has represented clients in divorce proceedings with high net worth assets, frequently acts across a wide range of asset sizes, and will advise on the best settlement whatever the details of the case may be. Lynn regularly attends the local County Courts to negotiate and resolve children and financial matters.
Lynn is a member of Resolution, an organisation of 6,500 family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales, who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters, as well as a solicitor member of Reunite, the charity dealing with child abduction matters.
Lynn has a broad experience of civil litigation matters, including landlord and tenant, housing and boundary disputes, employment, settlement agreements, debt collection, injunctions and various civil disputes.
